Who qualify as mentors?

Mentors are professionals, business owners, startup founders, and advisors in our community. Being a mentor means you’ve achieved a certain level of success in your professional career or company and you’re willing to give back to the community by teaching the next generation what you know.

What are the time requirement for Lighthouse Mentorship?

Lighthouse Mentorship works via sessions. We scheduled dedicated time at our office for Mentors to meet with their group at our Waterfront Lab coworking space. Outside of the in-person sessions, Mentors can communicate via Email/Phone with their group. A large focus of Lighthouse Mentorship will be the in-person meetings at our office.

Where are the Mentorship Sessions located?

All of the mentoring sessions will be located at our Waterfront Lab office, 121 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08102. For more information about our coworking space please visit Waterfront Lab.

What does a mentor do?

A mentor works with students, startups, entrepreneurs, and other business professionals. Mentors typically offer 1 on 1 mentorship with an individual, group mentorship with a startup, or teaches a class at our Waterfront Lab facility. If you’re interested in teaching a class, please refer to our Entrepreneurship 101 program.

Do I need to pay anything?

Mentors do not need to pay any sort of fee to be a part of our program. We are grateful to have your presence and hope our community can learn a great deal from you. Actually, we’ll probably take you out or seek to repay you in some ways.
